Eric F. Rieseberg – Founder, President and Chief Operating Officer

Eric Rieseberg, co-founder and Chief Operating Officer, is responsible for the success of Specialty Hospitals of America, Inc.’s operating structure and all personnel. He has more than 35 years experience in the healthcare industry most notably as Divisional Vice President, HCA Management Company/Quorum, President and founder of The Specialty Hospital Group, Mariner Post-Acute Network and Senior Vice President – Operations, Transitional Hospitals Corporation. Eric has extensive “turn around” and team building talents. Mr. Rieseberg is a graduate of Ithaca College (B.S. Health Services Administration) and the University of Pittsburgh (MBA Hospital Administration).

Robert E. Rummler, Sr. – Founder, Chief Investment Officer

Mr. Rummler is a graduate of Syracuse University – College of Business (B.A. Finance and Insurance). He has over thirty-five years of investment banking and entrepreneurial experience most notably as Managing Director of Personal Resources Management Group, a Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette, Inc. profit center, Director of Investment Marketing for the English merchant bank, Schroders, Inc., and Chief Financial Officer and Director of Wastech International, Inc. He has had extensive merger and acquisition experience and has participated as a principal in five start-ups.

Frank Wilich – Founder, Chief Development Officer

Frank Wilich co-founded Specialty Hospitals of America, Inc. in 2002. Mr. Wilich’s role is to provide the leadership in the market-driven hospital environment and discover patient-care opportunities where SHA can grow to the mutual benefit of patients, doctors and staff, the community and investors. His 25 years of management and entrepreneurial experience include the roles of President /CEO of Polychem Corp., Chief Executive Officer/ Co-Founder of Pharmco Products, Inc., Director of Marketing and General Manager for American Hospital Supply, and a Territory Manager for IBM Corporation. He has successfully launched several private companies involved in national and international medical device marketing, pharmaceuticals and chemical processing. Mr. Wilich is a graduate of Dartmouth College (BA) and The Whittemore School of Business and Economics (MBA).

Susan P. Bailey – CEO, Specialty Hospitals of Washington-Capitol Hill

Susan P. Bailey MPA, RN, is CEO for SHW-Capitol Hill. The hospitals under Susan’s purview are earning the esteem of the local medical community by successfully caring for patients with increasingly complex medical needs due to her leadership and commitment to hospital excellence. Ms. Bailey joined SHA in May 2006, bringing more than 30 years’ experience in healthcare management and operations, including ten years working for Kindred Healthcare as CEO at LTAC facilities. She received her nursing degree from the United Hospital School of Nursing, Port Chester, NY, her Bachelors in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix, and her Masters of Public Administration from the University of New Mexico.

Peter J. Miller, FACHE, Vice President for Operations, SHW and CEO, SHW Hadley

Over 30 years’ experience in post-acute care with 15 years LTACH as CEO or regional CEO, including start up and development projects; Served as Vice President for a 5 Hospital LTACH systems from 2003-2007. Mr. Miller joined SHW in 2009 as CEO and assumed VP role in 2011.
